The laboratory welcomes applications from graduate and undergraduate students with an interest in dislocation mechanics, first-principles modeling of crystal defects, and machine learning for materials. A background in solid mechanics, materials science or condensed-matter physics is expected, together with familiarity with scientific programming and high-performance computing.
Prospective students are encouraged to write to orcun.celebi@bilkent.edu.tr, enclosing a curriculum vitae and a brief statement of research interests.
